A lovely classic yarn with a strand of lurex running through it, this looks lovely in the skein once dyed, and gives a nice stitch definition when knitted, the resulting fabric is soft. The yarn sucks up the colour and speckles well. Lurex is a strong fibre which can take high heat and acid, and does not get damaged during the dyeing process, keeping the sparkle strong.
