Bulk yarn orders may need to be ordered in, I do carry a large range but I can run low on stock. I order every 2 months (and sometimes more frequently) so if you have something specific either in type or quantity I will try to get in quickly for you. Pre-orders are always welcome.
Most of the undyed yarn is imported. We test all these products before we offer them for sale to you. It’s industry standard to have up to 2 joins in a skein.
I have other businesses supply me with hand-made goods. These are not offered on a custom made basis. They are only available as a stock on hand only basis.
I have many suppliers both Australian and overseas and order from them all quite frequently. I am happy to order something that is not a standard item from any of my suppliers. Please contact me to arrange.
Postage/Shipping and Handling
I mostly ship using Australia Post in satchels or padded envelopes for smaller items. Larger items may be shipped with a courier company and I will obtain quotes and notify you of the rates prior to shipping.
Rates are by weight and size and are as follows:
Less than 490g = $8.80 (4 skeins of 4ply will fit in a satchel)
500g to 3kg = $14.00 (15 skeins of 4ply will fit in a satchel)
3kg to 5kg = $17.70 (25 skeins of 4ply will fit in a satchel)
If you postage can be done at cheaper option (ie large letter rate) I will contact you to advise and amend your invoice or do a part refund.
Postal rates are per 500g and include the tracking option. A separate invoice will be sent for postage.
International postage is available, please contact us for the postage rate to your location (registered postage is highly recommended).
If you are ordering over 5kg of goods please contact me and I will organise a courier service.
If you require a bulk order of any stock or request an item which is currently out of stock postage may take a little longer as stock will need to be ordered in. I will contact you and discuss.
Purchaser is responsible for any taxes, customs or duty charges that may apply.
Postage prices quoted are for standard postage within Australia only and included tracking. Express or registered postage within Australia is available at an additional cost – please contact me for details.
Seller accepts no responsibility for parcels lost in the postal system or damage caused by postal service however I will endeavour to work with you to reach a solution.
If you have any concerns about lost parcels, please request registered/insured post. Parcel will be packaged to withstand normal postal handling.
If the item is damaged in the post, please email us photographs as soon as possible and we can discuss a way of remedying this situation. You must contact us within 7 days of receipt of the parcel.
If your purchase is a gift and you would like it gift packed or wrapped please let me know and I will take extra care to make it special for the recipient.
Laybys are always welcome. Please contact me with your request and I will happily provide you with a manual invoice.
Occasionally I will put out discount offers, some of these are in conjunction with other businesses (eg Woolswap, FibreShare, SA Handknitters Guild). These discounts will not be applicable to any Majacraft products.
Yarnarama now has a reward points system to thank you for shopping with me and to reward my return customers. For every dollar you spend you will earn 1 reward point. Every 40 points will earn you $1 to spend, so 200 points will give you $5. Your points can be retained for 12 months and then they will expire. Each time you logon to your account you will see your reward balance. You can also gain reward points by creating an account.
